Originally hailing from the magical land of Tejas, Lauren traveled up to New York from Austin back in 2009. During the day, she works with bands at Red Light Management, and by night, she works to keep the editorial side of the site well oiled. A sucker for good melody, strong percussion and some dirty guitars, she always tries to keep her genre wheelhouse open to new tunes and sounds.
