Brother Brother’s single “Novocaine,” starts with a bang. Energetic and fearless, the track takes an uplifting attitude to a “this won’t last forever” message. A little romantic, a lot sentimental, Brother Brother has a way of making us feel both nostalgic and present at the same time. Pulling influences from alt-rock, indie and country music, the Nashville-based duo, comprised of brothers Bradley and Brett Anderson, explores sincerity and identity with their debut studio album The New Kids. And if “Novocaine” is any indication of what Brother Brother can evoke within us, we’re sure planning on listening to the rest of The New Kids.
