Lucius is officially listed as Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe, but a couple weeks back at the Sycamore in Ditmas Park in Brooklyn, we received a full band treatment. With the addition of Dan Molad (also seen in Elizabeth & the Catapult) and Adam Minkoff, the quartet played two original tracks and a Buddy Holly cover. After the filming, we got the added treat of eating dinner with the band. Holly took us to her workplace, a delicious Greek restaurant just down the street, where we stuffed our faces with hummus, mushrooms, pita, and some cream cheese concoction. People like Holly, Jess, Dan, and are the best part of filming these sessions.
