It might be our last session from CMJ to premier, but it’s definitely one of the prettiest filmed that week. With the East River and Williamsburg in the distance, Australian-born, Brooklyn-based band, Sherlock’s Daughter whipped out their instruments and gave us a very special performance.
Later that night, we had the pleasure to checking them out at Pianos, which was a highlight of my week. Their plugged in show is a much different experience in which their energy and stage presence can really grab you and take you for a ride.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
